Set in the Scottish court, Handel’s Ariodante tells a story of power, loyalty, and betrayal. My concept explores the visual tension of this world – where royal authority is wrapped in tartan, and quiet happiness is pushed to the margins. The design translates Handel’s emotional universe into a physical one: layered, conflicting, and deeply human.
