homage to Kari Piippo

It was an honour for me to receive an invitation from Pekka Piippo to participate to the homage initiative in memory of Kari Piippo, the renowned Finnish designer. It was not easy to find an appropriate message to convey the human emotional spectrum of loss. Still, I did my best to create a poster well in advance of the deadline. However, on the weekend prior, I found an article in Sergey Serov's blog by chance (https://sergeserov.livejournal.com/590625.html?utm_source=3userpost), where he spoke with a feeling of heartbreak and tenderness about their friendship. The sadness of the last farewell permeated his message. This quote from Florensky really touched me "One by one, one by one Like autumn leaves turned gold Dear ones drift and fall away». and I decided to create a new poster, combining my graphic message with the words used by Sergey Ivanovich.
