The visual identity and poster for the 16th edition of LongLake Festival in Lugano were inspired by the city's marina and waterfront atmosphere, where the festival takes place. Walking through Lugano, one encounters numerous maritime references: navigation systems, nautical charts, docks, and boating infrastructure. The poster translates these elements into an abstract water surface animated by emotional ripples and waves, reflecting the energy of the festival. The typography features Kabeltouw, a typeface inspired by contemporary maritime transportation — shipping containers, cargo cranes, curved metal structures, signal colors, and stencil lettering — reinforcing the connection to the nautical environment while bringing a bold, contemporary character to the identity.
