I made this conceptual poster for the gala concert dedicated to Maria Callas recently held in Opera de Paris. An incredible voice and a deeply moving tragedienne, Maria Callas transformed the art of opera acting and singing. All her life saw her performing on stage. The last pic in this post inspired me for this graphic solution. A complicated and at the same time elegant colour palette and strict vertical stripes as mask for the font. I like the graphics and the alternation of colour stripes each time gives a different feeling, with ochre lines at times coming forward and the blue ones in the background, while other times the blue lines have more prominence thanks to the white font. This also happens in life, when we change our priorities and aspirations, akin to when something significant in youth becomes secondary in adulthood. This poster was selected in the "Golden Bee 16" biennale.
